Having an omelet daily is really common. Therefore I came up with the recipe so that you can bring some change into your daily omelet. The creamy mushroom omelet recipe is filled with delicious flavors. And when you have a bite of it you’re really gonna feel magical. And if it’s mushroomed omelet it’s gonna be more tasty. 

This omelet reminds me of the old family Sundays. When my mom used to cook omelets for me the breakfast. This omelet recipe that I came up with is so homey and mouth-watering.

You will forget all your troubles for a while when you will have a bite of it. 


If you want to specify the recipe you can use some fresh herbs such as onions or dill. Cilantro, dill, and onion are the top among my favorite herbs. Using fresh herbs adds taste and color to your dish. But if you don’t like the high amount of herbs you can reduce it according to your choice. 

Real star: 

The real stars of this recipe are cream and wine. The recipe is useless if there aren’t these two ingredients. You might have seen the recipes which had mushrooms creamy sauce and wine.

This omelet is nothing without the sauce. And I must mention this mushroom sauce is so easy to make that I now make it for other items as well.

  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 cup sliced cremini mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • ½ cup white wine
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • A pinch of fresh chopped dill
  • 3 eggs
  • Pinch of chopped dill
  • ½ cup chadder cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

For garnishing:

  • Chopped dill
  • Thin sliced green onion
  • Sliced chili pepper


  • Firstly to prepare the mushroom sauce. Heat butter on medium flame. Add onion when the butter starts getting hot. Mix it for 1 minute. 
  • Add mushroom and keep cooking until the color turns golden brown. Cook it for 2_3 minutes. Then pour heavy cream and wine. Add a pinch of your favorite herbs. Keep cooking until the sauce gets thickened. 
  • Then whisk 3 eggs in a bowl. And also add a bit of fresh dill. 
  • On medium-high heat melt the butter in a saucepan. When the butter starts sizzling spread mushrooms around the pan and cooks them for 20 seconds. Then take the egg batter and pour evenly in the saucepan. Then do seasoning of salt and pepper. 
  • Leave the eggs to cook for 7_10 minutes. Cook the egg from one side and lift the pan to let the uncooked egg spread. Repeat the process with other sides as well. Make sure there is no runny egg dancing in the pan. 
  • Add shredded cheese to the omelet. And do topping with mushroom sauce. Reserve some sauce for garnishing. Fold quickly and transfer into the plate. 
  • Garnish omelet with the remaining mushroom sauce and sprinkle some fresh herbs. 


Serve it out on a big plate with some fresh olives aside. It will give it more attraction and affection. It’s usually a breakfast dish but you can have it at dinner as well as lunch. Also, it can be cooked for carving snacks time.  creamy mushroom omelet recipe.
