INGREDIENTS :
- Savoiardi ladyfingers (300 gram )
- Mascarpone cheese (500 gram )
- 4 medium eggs
- coffee (300 ml )
- Marsala or rum ( 2 tablespoons )
- unsweetened cocoa powder
EQUIPMENT:
- baking pan (12×8 inch )
- An electric stand mixer
RECIPE:
- First of all, you have to make coffee and then add 2 tablespoons of marsala or rum. Then set the mixture aside and let it cool. Now separate the yolk from egg white and whip it gently, but make sure there isn’t any trace of egg yolk.
- Secondly, you have to take a bowl and whip the egg white rigid and stiff. If the egg white will not move when you turn around the bowl it means you have reached it . Now set it aside.
- After that whisk the egg yolk with sugar in a separate bowl until smooth. Whisk it for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Now when it’s ready, add the macropore cream
- With the help of an elastic mixer mix the cream slowly and add the stiffen egg white
- Mix it with a spoon from top to bottom. Mix it until it gives a creamy texture.
- Dip the Savoiradi ladyfinger into the coffee. Now place them in a glass cooking pan
- Spread mascarpone cream gently on top of the Savoiardi.
- Then put another layer of Savoiradi and cover it with a more creamy mixture.
- At the end sprinkle a bit of cocoa powder and let it be in the refrigerator for 3 hours before serving. Also, you can add some flakes of chocolate for topping and taste
