Breakfast is something we start our day with. Therefore we all prefer to have something delicious on our breakfast table. However many people like lite breakfast but few are of the opinion of a heavy one. But I must say we should have a full and energetic breakfast so that it can keep us energies for the whole day long.

Usually, I am a bit allergic to eggs because I don’t like eating egg yolk, especially in the morning. But the egg is protein-rich and shall be taken in one way or another. Therefore I thought, why not take away the intake of the egg.

Mochi is our traditional and cultural dish. I’ll share its recipe soon with you all. I’m mad at mochi. They are particularly made with eggs and milk. Also, the presence of cardamom adds a lot to its taste. French toast recipe is somehow associated with mochi. But machi needs a bit of effort, whereas the French toast recipe is easy to make.

Moreover, I have used honey for the toping of French toast. But u can use maple syrup or pineapple syrup accordingly to your choice.

I have used butter for the frying of French toast. You can use any vegetable oil or sunflower oil. But I would suggest using butter because butter is the main ingredient of the French toast recipe, which brings taste to the whole recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 and a half tbsp sugar
  • 3 green cardamom
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 cubes of butter.
  • Bread slices

METHOD:

  • Firstly take a bowl. And whisk both the eggs in a bowl gently with folk.
  • Then add sugar to it and mix (powdered sugar would be best).
  • Secondly, add milk and green cardamom and mix gently.
  • Next, heat a pan. And melt the butter cube on the pan.
  • Dip the bread slice in the batter and put it on the pan to fry.
  • When you are done with the frying of the bread slices, pour the honey upon the French toast.

SERVING:

Ayesha’s french toast is ready to serve. You can serve it with chocolate sauce or honey.
